How to make a video in Wave.video

Edited

Making videos in Wave.video is easy! Read our guide to become a pro at video editing and get great projects you would be proud of.

There are three directions you can work in Wave.video.

Option #1: If you already have a video that you want to make corrections or add some details, you can simply upload it from your computer and amend it with Wave.video.

Option #2: You have an idea but lack some materials to use. Use our extensive library of templates and stock files.

Option #3: All the components of a perfect video are ready, but you need an easy-to-navigate platform to put it together. Select the “Blank video” button and feel free to use all available features (add text, stickers, audio, use AI-generated service).

Click on the “My projects” button in the upper left corner. Here is the space for all your projects; the whole editing process starts here.
Once you click on the "Create Video" button, it will see all available options to start from.

First of all, you should choose the format of the video you will make. If you aren’t sure yet, you can change it later.

After that, you can add a video clip or image to serve as a background. You can either search through the stock library that comes with Wave.video or upload your footage.

Then, you can head over to the Edit step and add animated text to your video to convey your message. You can also make your video more engaging by adding video filters, animated stickers and GIFs, and your logo.

You can also add a watermark that will play throughout the whole video. So your video would have a branded look.

Once you are happy with the video you made, head over to the Publish step.

Before the final render, you should choose the resolution of the video, its quality, and format.

When everything is ready, press the “Render” button.

Congratulations! The video is ready!

You can download it to the computer, send it to your phone using our app to connect your account with the mobile device, or share it on your social networks directly from Wave.video.
