The full version of Wave.video is accessible online and works in any browser (we recommend Chrome, though) open on your desktop computer.

But there is a Wave.video Companion mobile app out there in the AppStore.

It is designed to help those who use iOS to quickly transfer files between their computer and smartphone.

First, install the app on your iPhone and enter your account using the same credentials as for the desktop version.

There are 2 ways to use the app:

  1. You can upload the files from your smartphone to easily make them available inside the editor.

  2. You can send your ready video projects from the editor to your smartphone to get them available for social sharing, etc.

1. Uploads tab

Here you'll see all your files uploaded to the Wave.video platform and folders if you have any.

If you have some files on your smartphone that you want to work with in the Editor, it is the fussless way to exchange the files.

Click on the Upload files button, allow the app to access your photos and pick the files you want to send for editing.

3. Now you can access your files inside the Wave.video. They are stored in the Uploads tab inside the library and are available for editing.

2. Received tab

Once you're done with creating and rendering your video, you'll see this screen with sharing options. Click on the Send to iPhone button and follow the instructions.

Your video will appear in the Received tab. You can download the file to your iPhone and share it however you like.
