Thanksgiving is a Federal Holiday, marked by many religious and cultural observances. This holiday was originally started by the Pilgrims and is held on the fourth Thursday in November.
- Give to your local community. Help your company gain exposure and recognition (and also just to help the community) by participating in a food drive, a soup kitchen, building houses for Habitat for Humanity.
- Be unique. The best part about being a company is also having the ability to give in a lump sum. If you're a restaurant, donate food. If you're a bank, give promotions off checking and savings accounts for a limited time. If you're in Technology, why not offer a discount for a couple months or off an annual subscription?
- Facilitate Time For Your Employees To Enjoy The Holiday. Work is important, and being hardworking is crucial to the success of any company. However, rewarding your employees will always be in your best interest, and will create motivated employees who are dedicated to your cause.
